We had a one night cruise with “Real Journeys” Well worth it. A cruise around the sound and it’s arms - Kayaking Swimming On board commentary 10/10 Fabulous- and I don’t say that lightly!

Agree with mikevdb that car is best due to distance. Helitours are good but expensive and we found we had to prioritise where to do them but of course depends on your budget. …

Agree with mikevdb that car is best due to distance. Helitours are good but expensive and we found we had to prioritise where to do them but of course depends on your budget. Doubtful sound is very beautiful. We did overnight cruise but had to book a fair way out. You can read my review on this and Bailiez Cafe Te Anau. Te Anau has some good eating options but you definitely need to book ahead as popular tourist place and busy for dinner.
