I stay in RAIPUR. I am planning to visit visit Chitrakoot Falls, Kotumsar Caves & Tirathgarh Falls next week starting Sunday 24th January. I plan to stay for 2 Nights 24th & 25th Jan Night & come back to Raipur on 26th Jan afternoon. Can some body tell me how to go from RAIPUR (Bus or Train) & where to stay in Jagdalpur. Basant : I used a cab for all my commutes starting from Raipur. I am told there are buses available too between Raipur and Jagdalpur. However, I will not be able to tell you about public transport beyond Jagdalpur. About accommodation - I had the good fortune of using the company guest house of one of my acquaintances. I do know that there is a hotel in the middle of Jagdalpur. Its decent enough. That apart there are ethnic resorts run by members of the erstwhile royal families of the region. I am sure you could strike a good bargain. The tourism department and the forest department too have accommodation around the region. Have a nice trip. Cheers.
