It’s more like a time of day. Sunrise sunset time is the worst for mosquitos no matter what day of the year. And winter(for us closer to jan and February) there are less but they are still out! Worst is raining season which is same as hurricane season. June-Nov. but again they aren’t bad during the day. Just stay away from still water.
Are the mosquitoes under control here now??? It was unbearably bad last time I went. I put in a request online for the park to be sprayed. We love it here so much but could not even get out of the car.

Mosquitos are seasonal and will always be around when there is standing water. The best solutions for not getting bitten are to use off or some other repellent or... ...Buy garlic pills (Tablets) at CVS or Walgreens and start taking them regularly. They are actually good for you too, and within about two weeks you will no longer get bitten by these nasty pests. They will still land on you and buzz around in your ears and face, but they WILL NOT bite you.. Seems they are truly vampires and don't like garlic. PS...you will not smell like garlic or feel the garlic in you mouth but biting insects are repelled buy this... Old army trick and it works. Good luck!
