Lovely walk, amazing views for miles. Easy parking at Ashridge National Trust for a walk through the woods. The view of dog waste bags around the viewing point are less appealing, however.fatherivy的完整评论
Not a huge dog fan if they are running loose without leads barking and sniffing around my pic nic. Anyone know of any quieter/ peaceful routes to walk and sit if I am coming from Tring Station and is it best to go back via Tring or another ?

Plonker dogs do sniff and bark. And there are sings saying no picnicking not no sniffing or barking
What else is there to do around here? Is there somewhere nice to eat? Our Grandma (who is 95) has always wanted to visit, but we have 2 children with us too so want to keep everyone happy.

You can drive on towards Dunstable for about 5 mins and visit the National Trust cafe on Dunstable Downs which gives excellent views over the countryside whilst being nice and warm at the same time. The food is good and reasonably priced and there are modern clean toilets up there too. Hope this helps.
