Can I get back to Qatar if I resigned from my previous job? I've been working in Qatar for more then a year. And they I resigned from my last company I applied for a new job but my visa got rejected. What is the dress code for strolling around in public places like the pearl. I understand shorts and spaghetti tops would be too revealing but is a skirt just above the knee and a vest top acceptable. I believe it's 30 degrees at the minute. Also are knee length shorts ok for Men?

Non workers dont usually do anything that makes them sweat or do anything "physical" - its a local custom. So walking and cycling are not high in the list of civilized activities. They are mostly dangerous.
