Featuring hot soups, sandwiches and an array of sweet treats, the Yakima Valley Museum Soda Fountain restaurant has reopened, serving lunch five days a week with expanded hours expected by summer.

The Bair, a bistro and “living museum” in a historic landmark in Steilacoom, is closed temporarily while crews restore its early-20th-century soda fountain to “new but old” working condition.
