The Nehru Planetarium, a part of the Nehru Centre was established in 1977. It is located in Worli, in the heart of Mumbai, and is one of the most advanced planetariums in the country.

The Nehru Planetarium in New Delhi opened along with Mumbai in 1984, and is part of the complex that was once the official home of the first Prime Minister of the country, Jawaharlal Nehru.

BENGALURU: From Venus to Saturn, as a rare celestial event unfolds in a planetary alignment, Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium (JNP) will be showcasing it through telescope on January 25, 6.30pm onwards.
