I like to serve these with mini plastic spoons, so everyone can eat them like a mini dessert. If you prefer a milder butterscotch flavor, you can use vanilla pudding with the butterscotch schnapps.

Non-Scots might eat this with some custard ... To serve, turn the pudding out onto a serving plate and serve with the butterscotch sauce and crème fraîche.
