Looking for opinions on the best dim sum. I’ve tried a few places, and currently like Harbor City and Jade Garden, but they’re just okay. Was hoping to find some better ones. Thanks for any recommendations! Edit: Poor choice of words to say those two are just okay. I do eat at both of those places, but have had better dim sum.

2021年8月10日 · I want to help differentiate the two: Hong Kong East Ocean Seafood in Emeryville is a great place for dim sum. Its huge, has a great view of the bay, but is definitely a little pricey. Pre pandemic it was slammed all the time. I went 2 months or so ago and it was slammed but their staff service couldnt keep up.

Restaurant business folks should really visit China to see the variety and quality of Chinese food today especially in big citiea like Shanghai and Shenzhen. Even for Cantonese dimsum, there's much much more choice in China compared to the old style here in Toronto

2023年6月19日 · Hong Kong Garden Seafood & Dim Sum Cafe - 5300 Spring Mountain Rd Usually a short wait time, if any wait time at all. Mostly made-to-order, so not much free roaming push cart style.

It's more upscale than a lot of dim sum but the quality is top notch. My father-in-law owned a Chinese restaurant in SF and this is his current favorite for family gatherings. Not Dim Sum, but if you're looking for other good eats while she is in town, I really like Garlic + Chives as well, which has an OC location.

2023年7月31日 · Metropol Restaurant in United Centre in Admiralty has the food carts they push around or you walk up to the serving stations to order-collect your food. Food is pretty good and has the more local dim sum restaurant atmosphere.

My husband and I bought a TON of shrimp dumplings, pork sui mai and pork rib dim sum for under $10, and had enough left over for lunch the next day - like 5 usual servings of dim sum dishes in one box for $3.

Back to the original OP, the only places that have traditional dim sum in carts in Tarrant County AFAIK is The Pearl, Kowloon, and ABC Seafood all in Arlington. Kirin Court in Richardson is the best in DFW though.
