2022年12月1日 · I am running windows 11 and was given a notification that there was an NVIDIA driver update. I proceeded with the update and upon the installation finishing my screen went black and would not return to normal. I had to force shut down my computer and the issue was resolved. What happened and how can I ensure it never happens again.

2022年3月16日 · Update: I uninstalled the graphics drivers with a program and then booted into safe mode without internet so that i could install the drivers without Windows Update getting in the way. This worked in safe mode, but as soon as i booted Windows normally, the resolution changed and was zoomed in and stretched again.

2020年8月13日 · I tried running Nvidia Geforce experience from its folder and downloading a new driver from Nvidia's webpage, but both attempts failed during installation. I solved my issue. I rolled back the windows to state 2 days ago, uninstalled 2 small updates just before windows started installing new "windows feature update" and now everything works.
