Dubna (Russian: Дубна́, IPA:) is a town in Moscow Oblast, Russia. It has a status of naukograd (i.e. town of science), being home to the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research , an international nuclear physics research center and one of the largest scientific foundations in the country.

Dubna, city, Moscow oblast (province), western Russia. The city lies along the Volga River where it is joined by the Moscow Canal (completed 1937). Dubna is a new city, incorporated in 1956; in 1960 it absorbed the town of Ivankovo on the opposite bank.

2016年1月3日 · The Baikal deep underwater neutrino telescope is a mega-science facility, a JINR's flagship project in neutrino physics. The first cluster of Baikal-GVD was named “Dubna”. Now Baikal-GVD consists of 8 enhanced clusters at the depth of 1300 m. It is the largest neutrino telescope in the Northern hemisphere.
