2014年1月21日 · A 4 deg. blade will cut pretty much everything you can put on the little mill ( or any lower hp band mill for that matter ) with excellent results and productivity. Since the HF mill doesn't have roller guides, the 0.045" thickness GREATLY improves the cut quality and surface finish of the lumber. As for re-sharpening, I've got that covered.

2018年8月14日 · The cost for a chainsaw and a mill would run me about $1200-$1300, would be using the Granberg Alaskan Mill, 36". I have no idea what a decent bandsaw mill would run, I checked harbor freight and they have one for around $2000.

2009年8月2日 · The Harbor Freight Central Machinery sawmill in it's 2012 rendition is exactly the same as the Woodland Mills sawmill, without handle grips and a few other niceties. I ordered mine in early July 2012 and received it mid July 2012. I paid about $2200 including shipping.

2009年1月15日 · harbor freight sawmill shipped My harbor freight sawmill should arrive tomorrow. I ordered it thanksgiving day. Total price with tax was $1613. It looks like they didn't charge the $89 shipping charge perhaps because it took so long. I used a 25% off thanksgiving day coupon.

2016年7月29日 · Seems like a nice mill at a very affordable price. I just got a chainsaw mill recently. It's great for bigger logs but far too labor-intensive for just cutting standard lumber. I may have to look into these. Could you possibly post some pics of your mill? I can't seem to get any good pics on the Hudson site. Thanks for sharing.

2010年1月8日 · And their "yellow line" sold thru Harbor Freight, is even slightly less metal (the cage on the minimill is 2 post, on the Oscar 18 it's f our post) and a shorter warranty, for a slight reduction in price. The real bargain comes in IF you can find a 20% HF discount coupon from the Harborfreight.com site.

2016年9月28日 · I use a 4' high lift jack I got at Harbor Freight for 50 bucks (if you go this route, just drill out the pin that holds the foot on and replace it with a hardened bolt before you even start). BobL has a great design to make such a jack much more stable and into a great log lifter.
