Ocean Hole is a large inland salt water lake. It is referred to as a bottomless blue hole, has a rich Eco-system, and is home to lots of tropical fish waiting to show off how well they can jump for bits of bread. Known to be connected to the Atlantic Ocean, this body of water rises and recedes with the oceanic tides.

A blue hole is a large marine cavern or sinkhole, which is open to the surface and has developed in a bank or island composed of a carbonate bedrock (limestone or coral reef). Blue holes typically contain tidally influenced water of fresh, marine, or mixed chemistry.

Ocean Hole is a great place to spend an hour or so jumping from various points off the cliffs. The hole itself is more than 600 feet deep and offers a wide variety of fish to see while swimming in the water. There is easy access via a ladder for everyone to get in an out of the water.

2016年7月23日 · The Ocean Hole is an inland blue hole filled with fish. Visitors can swim, explore the area and feed the fish, but no fishing is allowed. The surrounding area has nice pathways, a covered gazebo and a rock rim bordering the entire Ocean Hole.

A natural salt water pond carved into the coral, Ocean Hole was full beautiful fish. The water was a little bit warmer than the ocean and crystal clear. We had a great time swimming there and will make sure to bring snorkeling equipment next time.
