The total world production for soybeans in 2022 was 348,856,427 metric tonnes, down 6.4% from 372,853,699 tonnes in 2021. [1] Brazil was the largest producer, accounting for 35% of world production, followed by the United States at 33%.

The top-ranking countries in terms of soybean production are Brazil, the United States, Argentina, China, India, Paraguay, Canada, Russia, Ukraine, and Bolivia. Brazil notably attains the highest production with an astounding 114.3 million tons of soybeans each year.

2018年8月30日 · Annual production of soybeans in the three seasons leading up to 2014-15 has ranged between 82.8 and 108 million metric tons. Planting of soybeans in much of the US starts in May or early June, and harvesting commences in late September to October.

Global soy production has surged by 1,200% over the past few decades (FAO, 2022). This tremendous growth is primarily due to expanding soybean cultivated area, but also improved yields.

These sub-national percentages of total production may differ from the displayed percentages in crop production maps because more recent production data from national ministry of agriculture (MoA) or statistic departments were used in the production maps.
