2004年8月16日 · Gun Test Magazine did a report on a Fulton Armory M-14 and they had issues as well. That should not be the case with a gun at that price point. Not at all. If you go with a Springfield Armory M1-A rifle I believe you will get the most bang for your buck, with the least amount of issues. As always your mileage may vary. Bill T.

2007年8月31日 · Well I went today I purchased an OD green and black, Springfield Armory XD-40 5'' tactical model. I had originally went to purchase the black and stainless 4'' until I held the Tactical 5". The gun is primarily a truck gun, maybe slid into the waist for a few minutes here and there it will now be a full time conceal because it is to large.

Guns destined to become Loaded pistols come in without a grip safety or sights. Those are installed in Springfield's Illinois factory. that must be why i could buy one for $421 N.I.B.

2011年8月7日 · Savage started producing this gun again a few years back. They may still be producing them so I would think parts would be available. That very same gun was my first 22. Mine has a full legnth octigonal barrel. I use to shoot hi volicity shorts in it with no probs. I later used long rifle standard volicity.

2020年9月9日 · Recently picked up an 1861 Springfield manufactured in 1862. Never noticed some of the markings on the stock until the sun hit it just right today. Only thing I can truly make out is the “OHIO” mark. To the right of the “OHIO” mark is another and I believe there may have been another above the right mark.
