In particular I am looking for the year of production and other facts, not really interested in its value (don't ever plan on selling it, my grandfather bought it used back in 67 and been in the family ever since).

2004年1月1日 · I have a Browning BPS 10 gauge and it does pattern quite well. I have never fired or owned a 3 1/2 12 gauge but because of the slightly larger bore and shorter shot column the 10 should theoretically pattern better. Because most 10ga guns tend to weigh more than 12 ga 3 1/2 guns the recoil should tend to feel lighter as well.

2024年10月20日 · I've see a few threads on this forum regarding the 10 gauge Matador and they're pretty old and maybe out of date. Anyway, I'm really interested in this 10 gauge and having trouble finding many for sale. I've found two online and the prices ($1900 & $2400) seem to be high compared to some of the info I've consulted, which put them under $1000.

2010年6月8日 · Mossberg was thinking of doing the 10 ga. but worked with Federal and together brought out the 3 1/2 inch 12ga. Federal made the ammo and Mossberg made the 835's. The rest is history.

2008年2月23日 · 12 gauge 2 3/4" shell is enough for dam near everything. then there is 3" and now w/ the 3.5" 12 gauge shells out (way over kill IMO) i see no need to go with the 10 gauge. i see buying a 10 gauge (new, not one that has history) being more bragging rights than anything else, and if you thought about it, you'd be way better off w/ the 12 gauge.
