2022年10月26日 · If you are car camping consider a pop up gazebo. We use ours as sun shelter when warm or pitch it over our tent (fully or sometimes just the front half) as an extra large fly. I also have a very large lightweight nylon tall and take two or three poles so I can attach it to the car roof rack on one side to make an extra large covered area.

2018年7月7日 · Preface: we have a 4-person Coleman tent with a vestibule and a 10x10 kitchen tent, as well as all the expected gear for sunny weather camping. This is a car camping trip; we're not total noobs to camping (just rainy camping!), as we enjoy both car camping and backpacking trips and usually go camping at least once every summer.

2023年1月31日 · Personally, I wouldn't find solo car camping enjoyable in the rain. Backcountry, yes, because it's about the physical exertion and exploration, which bad weather doesn't stop, so not a huge deterrent. Car camping, no, because for me, it's all about doing leisure activities that I could also do at home, but doing so in nature and sunshine.

2020年11月14日 · Here you go! I got these in the new van I purchased and it makes a huge difference. Thunderstorm the first night I camped out but was able to keep the front windows cracked about 3/4” each and with a small USB powered fan, I kept the air moving around.

2023年10月18日 · Bring a second set of warm clothes to keep in the car for when you finally are soaking wet and freezing, you can go back to the car and change. Personally, I love camping and hiking in the rain, but being prepared is 10x as important vs clear weather.

2012年4月25日 · wear a hat of some kind to keep the rain off your face and out of your eyes the best rain gear is lightweight, breathable, and has vents. it can get expensive, though. as long as you wear something with zippered vents (or some kind of venting) or that's breathable, at least for the "jacket" part (not necessarily the pants), you should be alright.
