Cold Steel Voyagers: Which One Do YOU Like? - BladeForums.com
2004年7月21日 · 4 inch tanto. I generally prefer different blade shapes, but then again I generally prefer different knives. That being said, cold steel does a great job on the Voyager tanto. The primary cutting edge can slice well, but the secondary edge still has enough steel behind it to be good as a chisel/wire cutter/prybar.
Old Cold Steel Voyagers - BladeForums.com
2015年1月1日 · I called Cold Steel on another matter, and during my conversation, I said I really enjoyed my Night Force and Pro-Lite knives. At that, the guy I was talking to turned up his proverbial nose. Apparently, CS bought a huge slab of 440A steel, and they used it to make the Night Force and Pro-Lite knives in both plain edge and serrated.
COMPARISON: Cold Steel Recon 1 vs Cold Steel Voyager
2002年10月30日 · Dont' have a Recon 1 so can't speak to that. Have a medium Voyager Tanto and an American Lawman. Really like both. The AUS8 blade will take a very sharp edge and hold it a decent amount of time. The Triad lock is simply great. Biggest difference that I see between the Recon 1 and the Voyager lines is the Recon has G10 grips and the Voyager has ...
Quick look: Cold Steel Voyager XL - BladeForums.com
2004年7月21日 · The Cold Steel Voyager XL can be found for $49.95 plus tax with free shipping if you know where to look, which is quite a bargain in my book. The average street price is in the range of $60 - $65. Considering all you are getting for $50 or so - including that huge, gleaming slab of AUS-8A and the insane Tri-Ad lock - this one is Powernoodle ...
Cold Steel Voyager (Made in Japan) - BladeForums.com
2004年7月21日 · My first quality knife was an xl voyager. i carried it to my wedding, i still have it. I prefere the vg-1 over the aus8 (or 440B by american standards) and although i tri ad is a huge improvement, and the flat grind is more workhorse orineted over the thin hollow grind so thats an understandable change, the voyagers are sentimental to me in their old design simply …

Sharpening cold steel question - BladeForums.com
2003年10月13日 · I am a little frustrated to say the least. I have been trying to sharpen my cold steel voyager with absolutely dismal results. I have tried a japanese water stone, a dmt paddle, an oil stone with no results at all. The thing wouldnt cut butter and i have had good results sharpening other knives and cleavers and whatnot.
The Cold Steel Voyager in AUS10 steel is THE BEST knife you can …
2021年1月20日 · The Cold Steel Voyager in AUS10 steel is THE BEST knife you can buy for the money. I have the clip-point version, and after using this knife, I just can't say enough about how great it is. The lock is incredibly strong, no blade play whatsoever, AUS10 steel is awesome, and for the money, you just cannot beat this knife.
Cold Steel Voyager Series - BladeForums.com
2012年3月19日 · Cold Steel properly takes some grief for their goofy meat bag execution videos, but they make a fine product at a reasonable price. And the Tri-Ad is most awesome. $47 (shipped) for a large Voyager is quite a bargain, especially relative to the competition.
How To Tell If A Knife's a FAKE! | BladeForums.com
2017年11月27日 · I recently bought a Cold Steel Rawles Voyager on eBay. Then I noticed something odd. The left side of the blade looked fine (as well as any chisel grind can look fine), but when I looked at the right side, there was nothing. It had the DLC coating, but that was it. There was no writing. No "Cold Steel" or "Taiwan" or "CTS-XHP." The answer was ...
