2023年7月24日 · I think Google Earth VR on Quest 3 would open doors for people who don't want to fumble around on PCVR; with all this I agree. However, you could just simply connect the Quest 3 to a low end PC to use it on a as needed basis. People need to understand that Standalone and PCVR mode on a Quest 2/3 are not in true competition.

2023年2月22日 · Would love a Google Earth VR experience (or equivalent) on PSVR2. PCVR Google Earth experience a few years ago (and flying high over the land in 3d like superman) was my most intense virtual reality yet, and I still rank it at or near the top in my VR experiences.

Its possible to use PSVR HMD on PC with with stream + Trinus VR. They problem we face is that Google Earth doesnt support (to my knowledge) keyboard or mouse, external controllers (PS4, Xbox) or move controllers. You'll need PC-VR specific controllers which I dont have access too and was hoping there is a work around.

I got a Link cable to connect to my PC, and everything works perfectly, but unfortunately whenever I try to use Google Earth all I can see is a white screen.

2020年4月28日 · I'm trying to get Google Earth VR working in VD and I'm stuck. When I try to run it in SteamVR, it works fine, but I can't turn (I'm guessing) because it thinks I have Vive controllers and there are no bindings for the Quest controllers. And when I run the Oculus version of it, it just loads a desktop app and doesn't load Google Earth VR.

Google Earth VR released on Quest would be one of the headsets most popular apps. (Even though there hasn’t been any features added since Google launched the app years ago) If Google somehow changes their mind on VR and brings back Google Earth VR back from the grave, I’d love if they cleaned up some of the geometry in popular destinations.

2017年4月18日 · One of my favorite things to do in Google Earth VR, besides visiting places I know, is to visit places at human-scale that I am NOT ALLOWED to go, like standing on top of a harbor crane and looking out at the bay, or on top of a skyscraper with restricted roof access, or visiting the strictly off-limits Farallon Islands.

2021年2月13日 · I had problems at first too. Google Earth recognized them as some different controllers (you could also see them displayed)... Then sometimes I have the issue, that it switches between different (rendered) controllers like 10 times a second. But for me it works re-starting STEAM VR and Google Earth a couple times.
