2007年10月23日 · green stuff is most reliable for sculpting in my opinion. aves apoxie sculpt i havnt tried but i dont know if it can handle old school casting which our company uses. could always try them out though to see, so far from what ive learned procreate works with the new green molding systems, but not for the old black vulcanized molds.

2009年9月16日 · Mixed with green stuff though, it behaves more like a green stuff/milliput mixture. The green stuff gives the Magic Sculpt enough adhesion and elasticity to be worked more easily. As far as ratios go, I try to stay around 50% green stuff, 50% Magic Sculpt, if I'm mixing the two.

2014年4月20日 · I've never used Chapstick - I think that would be too much grease, really. Once the green stuff is fully cured, you could wipe it clean with a tissue - it shouldn't stick to cured putty. But really, I'd avoid using Chapstick! For smoothing, I always use the grease from the side of my nose! I know it sounds disgusting, but it works really well.

2012年4月24日 · Pat uses Pro-create and/or Fimo. The difference is that Green/brown stuff cured chemically and Fimo and Pro-create are oven cured. He also uses Aves Apoxie Sculpt. It's a two part epoxy putty that is able to be mixed with water.

2007年11月25日 · Grey stuff for example is firmer fatser without losing the ability to take detail. This makes it a bit more forgiving for the novice sculptor, as the firmer the putty the less the puty deforms as it is manipulated. Grey stuff however is not very good for sharp edges or crisp detail. Green stuff stays soft longer and thus you can " work " it longer.

While it can be an irritant, keep in mind that Green Stuff (or at least the Kneadatite brand version) as far as I can tell is a solid-formulation polyamide epoxy: solid and polyamide both being mentioned in the "hazard assessment" discussion section as the lowest risk categories.

2022年12月17日 · Prior to starting this post, I assumed they meant that the epoxy putty was like the liquid resin used in 3d printers and that the same level of caution needed to be used when handling it but from what I read at a later point from other hobbyists online, cleaning unmixed components of Green Stuff doesn’t seem to require the same kind of work ...
