"Damaged" is not a black & white idea. Of course the ink will be damaged within one year, but I agree that it likely won't fade much over just one year. Although black ink is the darkest and would absorb the highest amount of damaging energy. We can't predict the effects. If you want to start an aging study, you certainly can.

2023年5月1日 · Regular fountain pen ink isn't permanent as the ones on ballpoint or gel pens, and is very susceptible to light. Also, many regular blues here in Europe are usually targeted to students and can be erased with erase pens (they're called washable blues). Maybe those are even more vulnerable? I don't know. Try to find another ink and check.
