The design of the Jain Center was inspired by the ancient Jain temples of Delwada, Ranakpur and Palitana Tirths in India. The exterior of the two buildings is constructed of carved Jesalmer yellow limestone, designed and produced in India.

The Jain Center of Southern California is very fortunate to have the JAINA library, which has over 11,000 religious books. The books are in English, Gujarati and Hindi languages. We also have a lot of audio cassettes, video cassettes as well as CDs and DVDs which cover a wide variety of Jainism related books.

Jain Academic Education Committee (an integral part of JCSC) was established to promote Jain Dharma in academia. Jain Dharma Principles are pillars of modern democracy and Jain Way of life is most climate friendly and most nonviolent, preached by our Tirthankers for millennia.
