LJVM Coliseum in Winston-Salem, NC is the home of the Wake Forest Demon Deacons men's and women's basketball teams and has hosted some of the biggest names in entertainment since opening in 1989. The Joel has been owned by Wake Forest University since 2013 and is managed by ASM Global.

Lawrence Joel (1928-1984) In February, 1986, the Winston-Salem Board of Alderman voted to name the City’s new arena Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum in honor of Joel and all other Forsyth County veterans who died in service to our country.

The Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum Box Office is located at the main entrance to the Coliseum 2825 University Parkway, Winston-Salem, NC 27105. The LJVM Coliseum Box Office sells tickets for all other ticketed events at the Coliseum, Allegacy Stadium and Couch Ballpark.

LJVM Coliseum, Allegacy Stadium and Couch Ballpark have a number of unique spaces available for corporate and family events, meetings, fundraisers, and parties. See our Private Events page for more information.

Accessible car and van parking spaces are designated near the entrances of the LJVM Coliseum. Parking attendants will help direct guests to available accessible parking.

Located between Reynolds and Deacon Boulevards just one mile from campus, Allegacy Stadium is the largest facility in the complex that includes Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum and David F. Couch Ballpark, as well as an indoor tennis center.

Today, the coliseum continues to honor Lawrence Joel and all Forsyth County, NC veterans who courageously gave their lives while in their country’s service with stone memorial markers on the East and West Promenades adjacent to the main entrance to the Coliseum.
