We began in 1989 with a common goal : to establish a centrally located museum to house and display miniature works and collections for people of all ages to view and enjoy.

A miniature museum specializes in displaying and preserving miniature objects, such as dollhouses, room boxes, dioramas, figurines, and other scaled-down replicas of real or imaginary things. Miniature museums can showcase the artistry, craftsmanship, and history of miniatures, as well as their cultural and educational value.

Do you need to downsize your miniature collection? Do you own or have a friend or relative who has a collection and you don't know where to go with it? The Museum accepts donations of miniature furnishings, accessories, building materials, and tools.

Miniature Museum Classroom Learn the basics of caning (or weaving) wicker miniatures as you make this chair. This is an all-day class, so you’ll want to bring a sack lunch.

The Miniature Museum of St Louis has developed a way of lighting a GIFT BAG or other displays with a clear top. Place a LIGHT PANEL on top of the miniature and the LIGHT PANEL casts light down into the miniature scene.
