2013年10月6日 · If I set the background to Center or Tile (where Windows doesn't have to resample it) then the raw RGB colors show up, including where they should be masked out by the .PNG's Alpha. If I set it to Fit or Fill (where Windows has to resample it) then the pixles which should be masked show up as solid black.

2013年11月7日 · OS: was Windows 8. I had a unique background for my desktop (i.e. not a standard Windows 8) and I decided to completely wipe my harddrive and install Windows 8.1 instead of upgrading. I deleted every partition even the recovery partition with GParted, I formmatted the disk to ext2 then I decided to format the harddrive to an unallocated fs.

I am so guttered i got windows 8 installed so if microsoft can add a solution which was working within windows 7 its would be great.
