2024年8月15日 · Male and female red-shouldered hawks look nearly identical but on average, the females tend to be larger than the males. This medium-sized species has an average wingspan of 37 to 42 inches. Juveniles look similar to adults but they have narrower tail bands and their upper wings aren’t as red.
