Develop and maintain a process for the management of STEC’s pool vehicle. Oversee the day-to-day facilities maintenance of all plant sites, including the maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, and groundskeeping.

Kelly Grones joined STEC in 2015 as the Manager of Safety & Training. In 2020, she was promoted to the role of Human Resources Manager. As STEC’s Human Resources Manager, she is responsible for all Human Resources functions including talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and organizational development.

STEC operates and maintains transmission lines rated at 69,000 volts, 138,000 volts, and 345,000 volts. The lines and stations cover a 47-county area of South Texas, from Freeport on the Gulf Coast, west to Del Rio, and all the way south to Brownsville.

STEC maintains a diverse portfolio of long-term purchased power resources, including 183 MW of wind resources, a 391 MW lignite-fired resource, a 7 MW solar resource, 99 MW of hydroelectric resources, 714 MW of natural gas resources, and 65 MW of market-based block purchases.

Coordinates with operations personnel, other STEC employees, and outside contractors to efficiently accomplish maintenance tasks. Ensures maintenance activities are conducted in a safe and compliant manner and compliance with STEC's safety program.
