You deposit money to yout bank account and then just choose the appropriate currency in your caee USD (i believe you cannot deposit usd directly unless you have a foreign currency savings account in standard chartered singapore). As simple as that.

Standard chartered india is the worst bank ... There app is still living in 1990s, to get an account statement you have to raise a service request and it takes 3 days for them to mail it, something other bank apps do in mins.

2023年8月9日 · Problem is that their branch opening hours are pretty crappy, compared to good banks like DBS. Also, their Branch Staff (especially at MBFC and Battery Rd branches) are highly incompetent and not only fail at fielding questions but don't even know what the protocol is for opening various accounts (basic ones included) and what documentation is required.
