countersunk screw angle - The Home Shop Machinist
2010年3月9日 · Countersink cutters are manufactured with six common angles, which are 60°, 82°, 90°, 100°, 110°, or 120°, with the two most common of those being 82° and 90°. Countersunk-head screws that follow the Unified Thread Standard very often have an 82° angle, and screws that follow the ISO standard very often have a 90° angle.

Countrsink lead-in for internal threads--is there a std?
2005年10月17日 · I'm looking for a standard or information regarding the countersink on an internal thread. I have an engineer who insists on specifying a countersink on all internal threads. I have contended that it is standard machine shop practice to put a 90° csk as a lead-in (he always specifies 120°) a little larger than the major dia. "Prove it!" he said.
How to measure countersink angles of countersunk holes in sheet …
2006年6月27日 · The use of the hight differance between ball of known sizes works well for angle actuals. An additional option is to cast the countersink and use an optical comparitator to measure the replication. Inspection of this feature on an on going basis should be concentrated on the set up. The countersink angle changes as the cutter wears.

2003年6月12日 · Section 1.8.12 of Y14.5-2009 indicates that for countersunk holes "...the diameter and included angle of the countersink are specified.". In the corresponding figure 1-39 the countersink feature is shown dimensioned with a 90° angle. Why is an angle dimension required when the included angle...

2012年7月28日 · In this case the countersink diameter must account for the locus of the mating hole. The minimum LMC countersink diameter is then of diameter H=C+T where C=the MMC diameter of the screw head (across sharps) and T the pt of the threaded hole at MMC. If the minimum clearance hole diameter is F+T then the countersink diameter must be C+T. Tunalover

2009年9月30日 · To control a countersink on a through hole, you would have a locational control on the hole, set the axis of that hole as a datum feature, and control the location or orientation of the countersink. Without it, you're relying on the part manufacturer to countersink the hole in a single setup with boring the hole.
