2023年4月10日 · I used 1 u-box and had excess space. Btw I did not have a car. Cost breakdown: U-box rental $120 – I did not store it so I just paid for 1 month rental Shipping charge $1,395 Movers (origin) – $275 + $100 tip. They picked up the box from U-Haul, brought it to my apartment, packed it up, and returned it to U-haul.

The last U-Haul I drove was a 26 footer with a gutless gas engine, a very difficult to shift manual transmission, and a failing cooling system. Hopefully there aren't any of those left that you may have to deal with!

2021年4月11日 · I ran into this exact situation with Progressive- they denied coverage after the wreck because the insured was driving a U-Haul. Thankfully, U-Haul still provides minimum limits coverage that you don't have to pay for that kicks in if your personal insurer denies coverage.

2020年10月7日 · U-Haul acts as escrow. U-Haul is not the one providing the service, but rather facilitating payment and offering the directory service. Scheduling and the services performed are entirely up to the moving help service provider. If you're not happy with the services they've provided, do not give them the payment code.

We had good luck hiring moving help from the U-Haul website even when we didn’t use U-Haul. They listed the companies so easy enough to find contact info. for where we’re living to where we were moving with reviews.
