2021年8月26日 · I installed a UMP air filter kit on my 900xp. That model had a notoriously bad sealing problem in the air filter system. Is pricey, but well engineered and manufactured. The filter is a Donaldson, but like most filters, crosses over to other brands. (I only use Donaldson though). I have had no problems with it.

2012年12月12日 · The UMP will filter really well, but take away power. Some like Alba have moved the UMP style filter above the bed and made a non-collapsable inlet and claiming to increase power. It was just too expensive for me and I didn't want to lose ANY bed space. I'm not saying the DMC DDE intake is the only fix.

2014年7月14日 · I have the UMP now after running other after market filters. works great. When Alba did the rebuild on my 900 , they found about 1/16" of dirt baked on to the top of my pistons and a failed valve guide. They said I was Lucky that I got it to them before it spun a bearing. I just added a K&N style pre-filter to the UMP. I ride at Ocotillo a lot.
