The only condition for the pacifist-neutral ending (the one where you can go back and fulfill the True Pacifist conditions) is that you don't kill any monster. Whether it's by sparing, fleeing or doing something from the ACT menu to trigger an auto-spare is up to you.

Might want to switch to the Locket when fighting Asgore, though since it's mandatory to fight him.
