The University of Georgia logo is the strongest visible representation of the entire university. It embodies who we are and unites our different voices so that together we are stronger than the sum of our parts.

Displayed below are the primary logos of the University of Georgia. Usage of any other academic or athletic logos of the university that are not included below are also subject to the university policies, style guides and procedures outlined on this site.

The university logo is used on letterhead, envelopes, mailing labels and business cards. Departments and units should be inserted in the designated areas for each option. Small note cards and note pads intended for personalized, hand-written correspondence may use top-level or department-level logos.

We wanted to update the University of Georgia’s institutional logo to represent the achievements, reputation, and aspirations of the entire university. Athletics will continue to use the Georgia Athletics visual brand identity for athletic-related communications.

All merchandise (such as t-shirts, hats, pens, sunglasses, or any other type of promotional material) associated with FACS must include an approved UGA logo. In addition, permission must be obtained prior to using any form of a UGA logo on a printed product.

Any intended use of the University of Georgia name or logo on merchandise, whether it is to be sold or given away, must be approved.

The University of Georgia logo, including Student Affairs division, department and program logos, and its basic configurations may be used by any program which has a formal association with the University of Georgia.
