Upgrading the Warn 8274 to a Newer Style Motor - Front Range 4x4
The winch motor was a direct fit with only one part, the drive gear, being different and it was included with the new motor. At the time the motor was so new on the market the only way to be able to be sure to get the new one was to order directly from Warn.

How does a winch brake work? [Archive] - Front Range 4x4 Forums
The question of how a winch brake works has been rattling around my brain for a bit. I have seen exploded views of winch parts (and it looks like the brake is internal to the drum - between the motor output and the gearbox).

2008年12月23日 · Re: jumper cables with the winch? Just google warn receiver mount and you will get a picture. Or you can go to 4 wheel parts and find the same thing on their website. It would be a good idea to get prices when you are on either site as my pricing might be off...probably low..

Here are the pictures of the bumper and the FJ60 front winch mount as I got them and some of the initial fitment issues. As you can see, the tow point bolts are right in the way of where the winch has to go and the plate is considerably narrower than the ARB dimensions.
