Afterwards move the savefile(s) from your legit steam storage to the CODEX save path which can be found in the .ini and you should be good to go. Thanks to Christsnatcher " Just follow the above guide and your saves will work (the .ini mentioned is the steamemu file on the same folder you installed the game).
