The White Horse is a hidden gem, situated in a beautifully renovated 18th Century former alehouse; a quintessentially, award-winning British pub with dining but, crucially, we have retained our pub feel and ethos.

From the main A6 road that connects Leicester and Loughborough, simply follow the brown signposts to the White Horse when you arrive at the village of Birstall. We are located on White Horse Lane, in the heart of old Birstall.

Our impeccably stocked bar – featuring premium lagers and traditional, Cask Marque ales, an extensive spirit range and a thoroughly researched (promise!) wine list – stocks gin from both Burleigh’s (Nanpantan) and North 42 (Leicester), as well as a sparkling and still vegan wine from the Leicestershire Wolds.
