It plays vastly better (because Kiwami 2's fighting style is shit), and there's tons of moves to mess around with. Cons are that its a bit more glitchy this way.

2025年1月30日 · The combat in this series has always existed in a seperate plane (quite litterally in Yakuza 1-5) from the overall story as things like the glowing aura around Kiryu, or the fact that half the heat moves you employ on your foes should rightly kill them is never acknowledged outside of the combat.

That's literally what it is (same dev for the combat engine). And especially in the first game, Tatsuya is just a real jerk. 2021年9月7日 · dragon engine movement and combat is more "loose" compared to the earlier games, combined with 30 fps, it honestly feels like shit. I really hated Yakuza 6's gameplay on PS4, on PC it was much better. The gamepass version is fine, has uncapped fps.

2023年11月18日 · Yakuza: Like a Dragon is also a fine answer if you'd rather play a turn based RPG. They're the two best jumping in points. Yakuza 0 is chronologically the first game and is intended to be the starting point for players to experience the whole series. It's also the (joint) best game (imo) so it's an easy choice.
