2012年10月3日 · I looked around a bit to see if there was already a thread on this topic but didn't find one so here is a new one. I have been looking at all the plastic cone bottom tanks and ready made conical fermenters I could find. They all seemed to be a …
Best fermenter with temperature control - Homebrew Talk
2018年5月5日 · I already have a ss brewtech fermenter with heating and cooling, and I found the heater was unable to keep my fermentation in the right range when my garage temperature is too low. For example I fermented a black ipa and had my temp controller set at 64, but my ambient garage temp was 52 and the heater barely helped.
Transferring hot wort to fermenter - Homebrew Talk
2016年12月10日 · Hey guys I'm transferring the hot wort to the fermenter because I can't cool it down while it is in the big pot as this does not fit my bucket filled with ice and water. On the contrary my fermenter does fit in it. Also, it's made of plastic so it's not a problem. Anyway I'll test some of your suggested methods and will see. Thanks for your ...

2010年3月1日 · The fermenter is packed tightly into the box, and the valves are already attached (though reversed and in the "wrong" location in order to prevent any possible damage). They did a great job here, but there's not much else to say in that regard. The box is of course pretty tall, as the fermenter itself is tall. Build Quality:

Mini fridge fermenter? | Homebrew Talk - Beer, Wine, Mead,
2014年4月29日 · Removing the bottom shelf and drawer and placing the fermenting vessel at the very bottom of the fridge allows for a fermenter that is 15.5" wide, 10.5" deep, and 27.5" tall. You loose about 5" of depth from the compressor hump. You can add maybe an 1.5-2" in depth by cutting out a portion of the inside door panel that holds the door bins.
DIY Conical Fermenter | Homebrew Talk - Beer, Wine, Mead,
2006年10月13日 · The corny top is stainless, and I welded it from the underside. The lid latches will pull the whole lid down to seal against a large silicone o-ring around the outer perimeter - the idea being that the fermenter will have the ability to be air tight, and you can pressurize it with CO2 to "pump" the beer into kegs/bottles.

igloo cooler as fermenter - Homebrew Talk
2011年2月26日 · In a glass or plastic fermenter temperature can be 5-10 degrees higher than ambient. Can't imagine how high it would go if there was no way for the heat to move away. edit: sounds like a good experiment but I'm not willing to sacrifice my beer.
Stuff settling at the bottom of fermenter? - Homebrew Talk
2010年3月28日 · The stuff that collects at the bottom of the fermenter is a mix of yeast, hops, and various particles from the brewing process. That's a good thing, so just leave it be and try not to suck too much of it up into the bottling bucket or kegs as scrambledegg said and you'll be fine.
