2024年12月5日 · For giggles: Well, one of my 30 caliber 52 grain 22 caliber sabot loads at 5,000 fps is very flat. When zeroed at 300 yards, it is only 1.45" high at 200 yards, 10" low at 486 yards, 22" low at 600 yards and 122" low at 1,000. Data based on my elevation of 7,500 feet.

2024年4月24日 · For factory rounds the 6.5-300 will be near the top of the heap especially at longer distances. It's about the most overbore meaning one can achieve high muzzle velocity. And 6.5 caliber has high BC bullets. At 300-400 yards it will shoot flattest with a light bullet like the 80 gr HHT G7 0.156. Velocity is the key over that distance.

2023年6月26日 · The debate of "flattest" is 100% subjective unless someone puts a fixed variable in place such as "Range" to use as a common denominator. This is one of the only posts where I've seen that actually be listed as 500 as well as 1000. Not surprisingly, it's unlikely to have one cartridge be the flattest at both distances.
