Dear friends, The work of Homes of Promise continued to grow and develop during 2023. We started with a new management committee in January and welcomed The Hon. Juma Abdallah (Speaker of Katabi Town Council) on to the board.

Dear friends, 2022 was an exciting and memorable year for the work of Homes of Promise. Last Easter we moved the project to Garuga. It is outside Kampala and not far from the Entebbe Expressway, although we have kept a small office in Kampala.

“It is probably as much a surprise to me as to my family that I find myself living and working in Africa at this stage of my life. I first visited Uganda in 2013 to meet a child I had been sponsoring through a local charity and seeing their work with poor families living in rural areas in the south west of the country.
