Changing default to the name of my work profile, named "Work", makes bad things happen. If I launch MS edge using the EXE it just makes a new profile. For those that are going to say go to edge://settings > Profile preferences > and set Work as the value for Default profile for external links". I tried Last Used, and Work. No change.
