Rolls-Royce was developed from the electrical and mechanical business, Royce Limited, established by English engineer Henry Royce in 1884. After building his first motor car in 1904, Royce met Charles Rolls, whose company CS Rolls & Co sold quality cars in London.

There are currently over 6,500 in-service Rolls-Royce business aviation engines across our Tay, BR710 and AE 3007 platforms which provide power to a range of aircraft, including Gulfstream and Bombardier aircraft.
