When practicing any scale is it a good idea to play each fret with a separate finger? I don't exactly have long fingers and the second to last A minor pentatonic box is hard for me to reach with my pinky to the low E 15th fret. At the moment, I'm practicing it using the other three fingers until I get to the A string 15th fret.
