They were offered throughthe Shelby Foundation as completed cars - with power train - but not legal for street use (yeah, right). I don't know if any of them were ever sold. 2021年7月29日 · For equal pricing take the Shelby CSX version. Long term they hold their price or appreciate more than the Kirkham. Yes, it's all in the name. Kirkham is overwhelmed with orders, booked way out, so pricing is to slow down demand so supply can catch up. But a Shelby will come from Kirkham, so it will take a while too.

2003年7月22日 · No small blocks, either in a Shelby Mustang or a Cobra, came from the factory (Shelby American) with dual quads. 1967 GT500's (428's) had dual quads, and a fair number of big block Cobras (427's & 428's) came with dual quads, but that's about it.

2023年2月7日 · The Shelby "Salisbury" is a Kirkham aluminum unit. My 289 has the Salisbury but is a Jaguar unit with mounting brackets Ross designed to allow it to mount to the Cobra frame points. If I was doing my car today, I would go ZF; constant velocity joints as opposed to the U-joints and plunge axles.
