99 years ago today, Balto completed the last leg of a dog sled relay along the Iditarod Trail to deliver a life-saving antitoxin to icebound Nome, Alaska, where trains could not reach. This statue in @centralparknyc was dedicated in his honor. Don't worry, Togo fans!
