I was born with a rare congenital heart defect called double outlet right ventricle. I’ve had multiple open-heart surgeries, and I currently have two pacemakers. Last fall, I was really nervous leading up to a surgery, and I thought that I would break down crying in the hospital. But when it came time to have the surgery, I was surprisingly calm and not nervous. Afterwards, I realized this was because I had many people praying for me. I could feel Heavenly Father’s love for me during the surgery
