Grade 6 project : Creative Arts.💞 -Khaferuza Paper mache, or papier-mâché, literally means “chewed paper.” Experts believe it originated in China as far back as 200 BC, where early forms of paper were already being made. "Toru" my final work for 2024 60 x 80cm in size on 300 gsm Fine art paper. Toru, meaning 3 in Te Reo Maori. This piece is partly a self portrait representing the 3 motions of the human experience~ confusion, defeat & acceptance.
