🌱Mint (Mentha) thrives in full sun to partial shade. Plant in rich, well-draining and moist soil. It is a very prolific plant with resilient rhizomes that will send out runners horizontally. If allowed, mint will take over an area in the garden, so it’s best to keep mint in containers. I put the pots on gravel and pavers to prevent runners and roots from rooting to the ground.
