Amazing drawing tricks with soft pastel

Some may think that soft pastels are too messy to take on a trip or do some painting on the go. I’ve discovered ways to make painting with pastels easy and fun for travel. I like taking harder pastels because they don’t crumble as much and they’re not as dusty. I also like to take a backpack to hold some simple supplies, a small wooden easel from IKEA with a piece of foam core board for my support. It was fun to get outdoors for a local blues festival and paint in the fresh air. #PastelArtwork #
