Preemie Milestones
Proud preemie parents🤍 Something we learned quickly was that hardships of being a preemie parent don’t end when they leave the NICU. There’s the constant worry of them meeting typical milestones & trying your best to not compare them to full term babies of the same age. So much of what we’ve experienced isn’t talked about so I’ll continue to be the one to start the conversation💁🏼‍♀️ It’s important to connect with others & to remember that we aren’t alone in this journey. #preemie #preemiestro

The last two days have been BIG milestones over here. 1. Yesterday, November 16 marked that we have officially been home ONE YEAR from the NICU. What a year it’s been. A year I will NEVER forget. Our son spent 210 days in the NICU after being born very premature at 24 weeks. Forever grateful to experience motherhood outside the NICU. ♥️ 2. We are honouring and celebrating our 2nd World Prematurity Day as a family. It feels so special that this day falls the day after Jack’s discharge day. It is
